About the Photographer
Colleen Morgan
I spent my childhood growing up just outside Lexington, South Carolina with my two loving and supporting parents, famous artists Danny and Mundina O'Driscoll, in a roomy one-story cabin on 45 acres of farmland. Spending the weekends going with them to art shows, I grew up surrounded by all different aspects of art; and with our Irish heritage came my love of nature. I dabbled in pen and ink, coloured pencil, photography, poetry, writing, music, and dance; finally settling on photography when my father gave me a Canon Rebel digital camera for my 16th birthday. I recently got married and my husband and I enjoy spending time in God's creation, taking long walks in the woods when the leaves are changing colours, watching the sun set a deep purple, or just listening to the rain splatter on the leaves and roll off. Most people would walk right past the things I see and not even notice. Many times, we take things we see every day for granted; we overlook them. I want to change all that. I want to open your eyes to a whole new world of beauty.
This is my dream.
